    Kristina leads the employment team, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with unions, contractors, and industry stakeholders, and oversees the team’s efforts to support graduates’ career success and long-term retention. She’s also working to expand the direct support NEW offers to graduates and technical assistance services to industry partners.

    Director of Workforce Development

    Noorjahan works closely with apprenticeships and other industry partners to ensure graduates successfully transition into construction careers. Her role is crucial to foster relationships and build pathways to economic self-sufficiency for program participants.

  • Brianna Miles

    Employment Coordinator

    As an employment coordinator for NEW, Bri acts as the key liaison between program participants and potential employers, helping women in the trades successfully transition into the workforce and advance their careers.

  • Jibreel Scott (he/him)

    Retention Coordinator

    Jibreel works one-on-one with graduates to support their success and advancement in the skilled trades industry. His work focuses on developing strategies for women’s success in the trades including designing and implementing retention initiatives and support services.

  • Candace Anderson

    Education & Equity Coordinator

    Candace brings educational expertise, industry knowledge, and a strong commitment to advancing equity and inclusion in the construction trades. She plays a pivotal role in preparing women for long-term careers and transforming the culture of the construction industry through Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging (DEIB)-focused initiatives.
